    Car Modeling

    Heya Crackdown fanatics!

I was wondering if some people have good screenshots, or drawings or concept art of all the 4 stages of the Fastest Agency car?
I want to model it myself in Maya but I need good reference which is hard to find I discovered.

So if any of you out there could offer me any help,

    would be much appreciated!

    Greetings from Holland

    Re: Car Modeling

The fastest car is the Peacekeeper "Race Car" and has only 1 stage.

By the fastest "Agency" car though, you obviously mean the "Supercar".

Hmmm, out of curiosity why would you want to model that? What game / mode do you plan to use that model in? Anyhow, for source material I'm sure you can jump in the game yourself and take some screenshots, no? Otherwise, I'm certain the interweb has a lot of pics you can referance.

Good luck with the modeling though.

How can I make screenshots of a 360 game?

Yeah I can take pictures with a camera but that isn't that clear, and believe me i've searched the interweb, nothing to be found thats usefull.

    Thx

    Re: Car Modeling

^^^^^ Best I can recommend is running your X360 through a PvR program using your PC monitor and take screenshots.

    Re: Car Modeling

    PvR = Personal Video Recorder

Get a program that allows you to record what you are playing through your PC monitor.

    1. Connect your X360 to your PC using its video card with cables
    2. Turn on your X360 and load up Crackdown
    3. Turn on a PvR program such as "Arcsoft's Total Media" (Google it)

Now you will be able to capture whatever is running on your X360 through your PC & monitor and save it to your PC's hard-drive and do whatever you want with it.

Essentially it works like Fraps (Google it) and records everything for you when connecting an external source such as an X360, PS3, Wii or whatever that's not directly running on your PC.

    Re: Car Modeling

And the cables work just like a PC to Monitor, just from Xbox to Laptop(in this case) so i need some kind of converter for the xbox component cables to DVI/HDMI or VGA.

EDIT: No wait that wont work, how the hell will my pc know that the xbox is connected to my monitor?

EDIT2: If i hook up my TV to my laptop as an "external" screen, will that work?

    Thx for the help^^

    Re: Car Modeling

Nope, your X360 MUST be connected to your PC / Laptop / MAC with VGA cables (Yellow / Red / White, though only the Yellow matters for your purposes)

    Re: Car Modeling

Okay I understand what to do, but dont understand how it works.
PC ports (for Monitors) are Out only right?
So how can I see on my laptop/PC what my Xbox is sending out?
My laptop wont function as a monitor, or does the program do that?

Hope you understand all of this (sometimes my english is to "dutch" =P)

    Re: Car Modeling

It doesn't matter "how" it works, what matters is that it does work.

I can't make the steps easier.

    1. Imagine you are connecting the X360 to your TV, but instead, plug it into the back of your PC / Laptop with VGA (Yellow / Red / White) Cables (will require an appropriate PC video card & connections)
    2. Turn on your PC / Laptop and load up progress to Windows
    3. Launch a PvR program such as "ArcSoft Total Media 3"
    4. Now, you will see what's on your X360 will be displayed on your PC / Laptop monitor
    5. Using the PvR program's controls, you can capture screenshots or videos of what is being displayed from your X360

    Good luck.
