Can new content multiplay with normal crackdown?

    So my friend and i are trying to set up a game, he doesnt have money for new content yet but i have bought mine a while back. Was just wondering if we could still multiplay without updating his game yet/?

    Can he play with you without buying the DLC, Yes.

    Can he play with you without downloading any of the content, No.

    He must have all of the FREE DLC downloaded, then he can play with you. He will have access to the PAID DLC when with you, but once you leave his game (or vice versa) he won't have access to it.
