Re: Only a problem in co-op?

    I to lost my stats.

I was in a co-op game when the update became available, went to the dashboard restarted for the update. Then went to see if the packs were available, from the download content within Crackdown. I started to download the 'Getting Busy' which stopped when i jump back into my mates co-op game.

Everything was fine, saw the achievements had been updated but stopped playing about 15 mins later. Went to Dash finished downloading GB and then downloaded the 'Free for all'. Then i left till this evening, went into campaign to find my stats and orbs gone. 497 orbs and 207 hidden, maxed out stats.

I don't know how RTW are going to be able to do a workround/fix, but i hope they do, like everyone else, that's a lot of time lost.

I have the same issue,  thank you Crackdown for wasting my time.  Next time, try not to rush updates out until they are properly tested!

Re: WARNING, DLC RESET MY GAME!

Everyone agrees that losing their entire save just plain sucks. But anyone who's worked with developing software knows that catching every single bug is hard to do, on the other hand this bug does seem to be pretty obvious as all you have to do is play a co-op game with a buddy. This is one of the reasons I always wait just a little bit before installing any updates/patches. Let everyone else test it first ;)

Re: WARNING, DLC RESET MY GAME!

Hey guys, no new information yet (ala emails).  I'm glad Agent G quelled some fears, they are working on it now.  I might email them once more to find out if there's any possible way of getting the save file back.  I doubt it, but I'd like to check at least before starting my game over.

Damn, that sucks if you only waited a little longe before downloading you would've found out you could at least be playing single player. (Agent G said theres no way to get your lost game back)

i think we should recieve some sort of compensation like micro points ?

atleast that way we can purchase the update that ruined most of us

Re: Only a problem in co-op?

Wait, wait. . .I lose my saved game and I don't get it back!  And they can't make a fix that gives people their stats back!  THIS IS BS!  And they are still telling people to download it!  WTF!

Re: WARNING, DLC RESET MY GAME!

Okay, I made sure the workaround was also posted (as well as re-posted and stickied by Trixie) over at the XBox Crackdown forums.  This information should spread quickly.

Thanks for the quick and diligent help RTW!  Agent G and "Agent I", thank you both (as well as all of your team) for working with us to figure this out.  It's a kick-ass DLC that you've created for us RTW, a bug shouldn't reflect poorly on you.  It makes a world of difference how fast and hard you worked to try to take care of this for us.  Keep up the EXCELLENT work, everyone!

Re: WARNING, DLC RESET MY GAME!

Can we get confirmation that we can do co-op mode without fear of losing our agent if both players have done this workaround?

Re: WARNING, DLC RESET MY GAME!

well guess weve had the ocfficial word and i get the feeling that theres no way we are gonna get oiur save games back. i just hope they come up ith something to sweeten this up. personally id like to see an update where the orb locations are clearly lit up on our maps so that if i do have to go get all 800 again at least it will be easyer.

    *** Happens i guess.

Oh please have a bumper sticker put on every car in the game saying *** happens, just so we are all aware for next time
