    Free Or Not To Free...

Fellas - Regarding the downloadable content that is coming "soon", there has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not it is going to be free or paid downloadable content.  I just wanted to let you know that we are going to be providing two substantial buckets of content.  One free and one premium.  There are also some other good surprises in store when the content launches.  It's all good and you'll have it "soon".  And by the way, there will be NO charge for that extra 100 gamerscore we owe you.  Cheers.

Huzzah! Two packs, one free and one not is a good idea to appease Microsoft. Give us the 100 points and some updates with one pack, and lots of juicy content with another.

Yeah, I have a profile on Gamespot as well and the reason its backwards is because someone already took FIG. I'm all over the net but so is everyone here. No big deal, I'm, just a huge fan of Crackdown and want more. I'm all over all the content, be it free or payed as soon as its out. I also cannot wait for that patch that will let us reset the campaign mode.

    AWESOME!

put me down for both packs ... as long as the 'premium' one isnt over 1,800 M$ points.

we'll see what RTW's definition of substantial is 'soon'.

my bet is the free one will be the boss reset option, 100 gamer points, a few skins and weapons. while the premium will be the new game mode, vehicles and maybe a new island.

what will be interesting to see, will be how they balance it out. cuz currently it doesnt let someone with the new skins join someones server that hasent got em yet, and vice-versa. so if they keep breaking the DLC up in parts it'll possibly just add to frustration when trying to join a buddy (or 3 hopefully) for co-op.

Re: Free Or Not To Free...

    Wait wait wait...
So how will the premium content work with a player that does not have premium content?
Because I do not see how it could work... say for example...
    Agent P has premium content
    Agent F has free content
P and F both co op off of P's Xbox over xbox live.
Agent P gets superawesomemegagun and Agent F gets his normal guns...
Agent  P dies and Agent F trys to pick up the s.a.m.g. and then explodes because he does not have the content.

Or they just do not connect because they do not have the same stuff.

Other then that... COOL, but what is the price range on premium? (If you can answer that...)
(note: I am not being mean, Im just asking a question with a statement :D)

Re: Free Or Not To Free...

I hope there is a downloadable that helps find the orbs, even if it is just resetting the orbs.  I have used a map to locate the hidden orbs and have went though it twice already and still cannot find one of the orbs.  Talk about frustrating.
