Heh, at first I was pissed that I lost my saved game and all that work. Actually, I'm still not very happy about it. It seems a daunting task and needless hard work to get back to where I was.
I, however, am not pissed with RTW. Yes, I was at first but after seeing how quickly they tried to help, I'm no longer upset with
them... just the situation. I'm sure there are many companies that would basically feel "oh well, sorry about your loss... that's your problem, not mine". Since RTW didn't act this way, in fact acted just the opposite and emailed me pretty much immediately to try to get to the bottom of this, I have faith in them. No I'm not upset with RTW any longer (and this is only because of how they responded to us). I understand Crackdown's a complex game, and I've been gaming long enough to know that bugs slip by. Yeah, this was a huge bug, however it wasn't easily found. RTW stated themselves that they had a bigger problem duplicating the ***-up, the majority of the time it worked correctly. Only after talking to several of us were they able to duplicate it and find a workaround (even if it's just temporary).
So yeah, I'm still a bit pissed about my file, but not at the people. They're doing their best, and to me, that quelled a lot of anger. You have to admit though, when it's working, the DLC is one of the best that the 360 has seen (bugs/glitches aside of course). This is also happening to a minority, not the majority, so I understand how difficult it was to find.
(Also, before I start sounding too "goody-goody", I'm a Buddhist. We're taught to dislike the action, but not the person. Just letting you know the reasons for what I've said. Even as a Buddhist, this has not been an easy thing to deal with, but I'm just trying the best I know how from the background I have to work with)
